Welcome to Pakistani Welfare Organisation.

Pakistani Welfare Organisation

We are now called Pakistani Welfare Organisation Learning Centre.

Bristol Pakistani Community Welfare Organisation (BPCWO) started its life as a Bristol Pakistani Women’s Organisation in 1995. A lot has been achieved since then.

One of the major achievements was the formation of BPCWO in 2003 in response to the community’s demand to adopt a more holistic approach to community welfare and development.

BPCWO is dedicated to helping, not only the local Pakistani community, but at the same time by helping ALL other communities by operating an open door policy towards all.

Our service users also include people from Bangladesh, India, Somalia, China, Japan and Kosovo as well as majority of our staff and volunteers who are from BME communities. Our centre is located at the North of Stapleton Road in Easton.

At the centre in Easton, we offer a range of classes and activities by working in partnership with other agencies. Through this, we are able to offer a wider variety of services.

We will continue to provide first class service and with regular feedback from our service users, we will ensure that their social, cultural, educational and recreational needs are provided for in the best possible way.

The faith, trust and commitment from our community and partner organisations have helped us to overcome many obstacles and we are now in a stronger position than before.

BPCWO is a user-led organisation and with continuing support we believe we can become a major source of change in the lives of our service users

We are located at:
